Terms of Sale

How buying a Typomat Engine licence works. What you can do with it is in the Engine License. The Typomat app is sold by Apple through the App Store, and these terms don't apply to it.
Who you're buying from
Marco Lüthi, Gutstrasse 172, 8055 Zürich, Switzerland. Engine licences are sold to businesses only. By buying one, you confirm that you're buying for a business and have the authority to do so.
Prices and VAT
Prices are on the pricing page, in US dollars. Any VAT or sales tax that applies is added at checkout. If your business is responsible for tax on what it buys abroad, enter your VAT number at checkout.
Payment
Payment is by card through Stripe, and Stripe emails your receipt and invoice. Your licence starts as soon as your payment goes through. To pay by bank transfer, write to Marco.
Renewal and cancelling
Yearly and monthly licences renew automatically at the price then current. We'll tell you in advance if the price is going to change. Cancel at any time from your account, and your licence runs to the end of the period you've paid for. A pilot is one payment and doesn't renew.
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe tries again for a while. If it still can't be collected, the licence ends.
Refunds
Fees already paid aren't refundable, as you get the software straight away. But if the engine doesn't work as documented and we can't fix that, we'll refund what you paid for the period affected. Just write to us.
Changes
A new version of these terms, with a new date at the top, applies to your next renewal.
Law
Swiss law applies, and the courts of Zürich have jurisdiction.
